Name: Joe Phillips

Job Role: Web Developer

How did you get into this field of work?

My interest in web development began whilst I was still in school. From there I took on an apprenticeship with Reach Studios.

What is the best thing you feel you have achieved in your working life?

I would say I’m most proud to be leading development on a project for GXO.

Have you any hobbies? 

Yeah, I have a few, my favorites are riding dirt bikes, swimming, and going to the gym.

Favourite food or drink?

Favourite food has got to be Taco Bell.

Favourite TV show or film? 

Favourite TV show is definitely ‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’.

you prefer working from home or the office? 

I prefer working in an office environment/setting.

What is the best piece of advice you have ever been given?

Not sure really. I will have to get back to you on that one!  

What is your favourite item you have bought this year?

Sur-Ron (My Electric Motorcycle!)

If you had to delete all but 3 apps from your smartphone, which ones would you keep?

Hmm. I would keep Twitter, Tik-Tok and Monzo

Have you ever completed anything on your ‘bucket list’?

Don’t have one.

Do you know how to speak any other languages ?

No

What is your favourite musical instrument and why?

Not really a musical instrument per se but I would say a microphone because of rap.

Best part of your job? 

The rest of the reach team.

Tell us something interesting about you that not many people know?

I once swallowed a dishwasher tablet when I was younger.
