The discovery phase is the process we use to underpin some of our most successful projects to date. Depending on the project, the budget and the deadline we can deliver a discovery process to ensure that we fully understand the 'why' and the 'how' behind what we are going to deliver.

Our approach to the discovery phase is primarily built around three pillars:

  • Kick Off
  • Analysis
  • Design Studio

Kick Off

Kick Off is a series of workshops and various other methods of face-to-face interaction with key stakeholders invested in the project at various levels within the business.

Outcome:

Understanding the goals we want to achieve and the problems we need to solve

Output:

Problem statements

Hypotheses

Customer Experience Journey Maps

Investigation

Investigation is a series of user research sprints typically ran between 4 - 6 weeks depending on the size and complexity of the project we are working on. We run this as a blend of remote and face-to-face research sessions.

Outcome:

comprehensive understanding of how real users engage with products and the interactions that must occur for them to achieve their goals.

Output:

Quantitative research feedback

Qualitative research feedback

Report

At the end of the investigation period we will deliver a comprehensive report containing all documentation created and all findings from the full Discovery phase process.

Outcome:

A clear and definitive MVP put in place to manage risks and expectations. The importance of this report is to prevent scope creep and keep your projects in line and within budget.

Output:
