Reaper Accessories are a bunch of mountain bike mad friends from deep in the heart of Sheffield. Aiming to create something unique and fun for the mountain bike community, the idea of Reaper Accessories was born.
In a satured market, the unique idea of allowing their customers to create their very own mudguards is what sets them apart from the crowd. We were approached by the guys at Reaper to build the brand from the ground up. As a result, the new brand identity and e-Commerce platform, running alongside social media management and email marketing campaigns.
Initial Reaper concepts
First, we created a variety of logo and branding concepts. Ultimately choosing their favourite, serving as the basis for the store. Secondly conversations over which e-Commerce platform would suit them the best. Finally, after a bit of back-and-forth, we opted for Shopify. Shopify’s simplicity and ease-of-use for the administrator and the end user ultimately made the decision much easier for us.
Disturbing the market
The e-Commerce platform is great on performance and the client describes the UI as ‘Slick’, as it is both intuitive and easy-to-use. Furthermore it has been an exciting couple of years for Reaper. With approaches from Red Bull, Sea Otter Europe, MBUK and a whole host of other brands wanting to get involved in the accessories hype. The guys also attended the London Bike Show in 2019 and caused quite a storm!
Since the launch in December 2016, we continue to work with Reaper on their products and services. Reach are proud to provide Reaper with a fast and efficient development service, adapting to their ever-changing business requirements.
Looking to the future
Consequently, as the business continues to grow, we look forward to working alongside Reaper Accessories. With plans for a whole host of exciting projects that are in the pipeline for the next 12 months.
